The List of Vicars
Near to the font is the list of Vicars standing on the window ledge. They tell the story of the 800 years of all but unbroken service which this church has offered to the community it serves.
Two notable names are those of James Hadow, Vicar here for 59 years and reputed to still wander round from time to time, and John Gibson, who was the brother of Guy Gibson who led the Dambuster's raid.
