Tags - What are your Talents?
Let me introduce you to some of the Sunday Club. Here are their ‘Tags'.
Tags are the way graffiti artists sign their work. The artists try to show something of their personality in their Tags.
Why were we designing our Tags? Well, it's fun, but that's not the only reason.
Some of the Sunday Club were confirmed in February 2006 and, in the weeks before that, happened we were looking at how God sometimes asks people to leave their ‘comfort zones' to do some task for him. We noticed how well God matches the task to the skills and talents of the people he has chosen; skills and talents that sometimes they didn't even know they had.
This led us to wonder who we truly are and to ask ourselves ‘what are our skills and talents?’
Which is what led us to draw our Tags – we were trying to show our personality. We wondered what God might want us to do, but we remembered the message given to the Old Testament leader, Joshua, when God set him a hard task:

Be strong, be resolute, do not be fearful or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
That’s a good message for those being confirmed and a good message for all of us.
