Thank You from Martin and Liz
With no August magazine this is a rather belated “thank you” to everyone who contributed to our extremely generous leaving presents. The roses are now all planted in our Suffolk garden and will remind us of all our Buggy Group friends and everyone in the Sunday School.
The Roses
The money you gave us has been divided equally between a superb ‘bird feeding station’, which is right outside our conservatory and will remind us daily of all our friends at St Margaret's. The remainder we have sent to the ‘Bedford Charity for the Homeless’ (I was a director there for many years) and ‘Community Action Nepal,’ a charity supporting Education and Health in the Himalayan hill villages of this very poor country. Both Liz and I have been trekking in this region and loved both the country and the people. Thank you also for all the cards.
The Bird Feeder
Finally, a very, very big “thank you” for all your love and support over the past 40 years that we have been attending St Margaret's. We have made friends in that time who will never be forgotten. We wish you and Steve Wood a happy and successful future. Please do come and see us, just ring 01728 68 7634.
