December 2005
- 4th December - Toy Service in church -
11:15 am. Those attending are invited to bring gifts of toys,
books, games etc. These will be received during the service and
then distributed via the Salvation Army to local children who will
otherwise get few, if any gifts this Christmas.

services. These can be ordered in church after one of the services

November 2005
- 1st November - The Advent Course.
In the weeks running up to Christmas we offer "An Introduction to
St Margaret's." This will be a chance for the recently
confirmed and for those relatively new to the Church to get to know
it, to see what it does, to meet the people who do it and perhaps find
their own niche within it. To enrol, please contact Roger Wood

Groups (Teenage Group at 6:00 pm & Adult Group at 8:00 pm in the

- 2nd November - St Margaret's Ladies
Guild - Joyce Cordless - Milton Keynes Theatre.
- 6th November - Fireworks Party at
the Village Hall. The party will start at 5:00 pm with games and
activities. Burgers and sausages will be served at around 5:30
pm and the fireworks will start around 6:00 pm. Adults are
£4.00 and children are £2.00. The price includes all
refreshments and a free sparkler for children over 5 who are wearing

- 20th November - The Friends of Streatley
Church Annual Service, held as part of the Parish
Communion at 9:30 am.
- 26th November - Annual Christmas Fayre,
Parish Centre - 2:00 pm. Cakes, Books, Gifts, Jewellery, Christmas
Decorations, Tombola, Teas and mince Pies, Toys, Games, Children's
Crafts and of course Father Christmas.
October 2005
- 2nd October: Harvest Festival -
9:30 am Parish Communion, 11:15 am Family Service and Uniform
Parade in church. A speaker from Mercy Ships will be at both
services.
- 4th October - The Friends of Streatley
Church AGM in the Parish Centre at 8:00 pm.
- 5th October - St Margaret's Ladies
Guild - Speaker from the Buffalo Farm.
- 9th October - Harvest Lunch, organised
by the Care Committee in the Parish
Centre. Please bring with you your own starter dish, dinner
plate, dessert bowl, cutlery, glass/tumbler. Admission by ticket
only £7.50 for adults, £3.75 for children under 12. Please
phone (01582) 508 761 for tickets. Followed by Evening Praise
for which no ticket is required.

Morning. Please note change of date to
29th September. 10:00 am. Raffle, Sales Stall, Christmas
Cards. All welcome, bring a friend. Money raised will go
to the L&D Hospital (Macmillan Cancer Care Unit).
