• 4th December - Toy Service in church - 11:15 am.  Those attending are invited to bring gifts of toys, books, games etc.  These will be received during the service and then distributed via the Salvation Army to local children who will otherwise get few, if any gifts this Christmas.
• 4th December - Sunday Club Rehearsal.
• 7th December  - St Margaret's Ladies Guild - Christmas Party.
• 11th December - The Christmas Plays presented in church by the Sunday School and Sunday Club - 4:00 pm.

• 16th December - Candle-Lit Carols in church - 8:00 pm.*
• 17th December - CARE Committee Christmas Party - 7:30 pm.
• 18th December - Candle-Lit Carols in church- 6:30 pm.*
• 20th December - Carol Singing at Sainsbury's - 6:30 pm.
• 21st December - Carol Singing at Sainsbury's - 6:30 pm.
• 24th December - Crib and Christingle in church - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.*
• 24th December - First Communion of Christmas in church - 11:15 pm.
• 25th December - Seasonal Communion for Christmas in church - 10:00 am.

November 2005

• 1st November - The Advent Course.  In the weeks running up to Christmas we offer "An Introduction to St Margaret's."  This will be a chance for the recently confirmed and for those relatively new to the Church to get to know it, to see what it does, to meet the people who do it and perhaps find their own niche within it.  To enrol, please contact Roger Wood on (01582) 882 780.
• 2nd November: Confirmation Groups (Teenage Group at 6:00 pm & Adult Group at 8:00 pm in the Parish Centre).  For further information, please contact Rev'd Roger Wood (01582) 882 780.
• 2nd November  - St Margaret's Ladies Guild - Joyce Cordless - Milton Keynes Theatre.
• 6th November - Fireworks Party at the Village Hall. The party will start at 5:00 pm with games and activities.  Burgers and sausages will be served at around 5:30 pm and the fireworks will start around 6:00 pm.  Adults are £4.00 and children are £2.00.  The price includes all refreshments and a free sparkler for children over 5 who are wearing gloves.  Tickets from Ros Wood on (01582) 882 780.

• 9th November - Way Warden's Autumn Gathering - 7:30 pm.
• 11th November - Regeneration Group - 8:00 pm Parish Centre.
• 13th November - Remembrance Sunday - 9:30 am Commemorative Communion Service.
• 17th November - PCC - 8:00 pm.
• 20th November - The Friends of Streatley Church Annual Service, held as part of the Parish Communion at 9:30 am.
• 26th November - Annual Christmas Fayre, Parish Centre - 2:00 pm. Cakes, Books, Gifts, Jewellery, Christmas Decorations, Tombola, Teas and mince Pies, Toys, Games, Children's Crafts and of course Father Christmas.

October 2005 

• 2nd October: Harvest Festival - 9:30 am Parish Communion, 11:15 am Family Service and Uniform Parade in church.  A speaker from Mercy Ships will be at both services.
• 4th October - The Friends of Streatley Church AGM in the Parish Centre at 8:00 pm.
• 5th October  - St Margaret's Ladies Guild - Speaker from the Buffalo Farm.
• 9th October - Harvest Lunch, organised by the Care Committee in the Parish Centre.  Please bring with you your own starter dish, dinner plate, dessert bowl, cutlery, glass/tumbler.  Admission by ticket only £7.50 for adults, £3.75 for children under 12.  Please phone (01582) 508 761 for tickets.  Followed by Evening Praise for which no ticket is required.
• 11th October - Parish Centre Management Committee - 8:00 pm.

September 2005

• 6th September - Autumn Term starts for Buggy Group.
• 7th September - St Margaret's Ladies Guild - Janet Naylor "Verse or Worse".
• 15th September - 8:00 pm PCC.
• 29th September - Parish Centre Coffee Group in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, (opens in new window) World's Biggest Coffee Morning.  Please note change of date to 29th September. 10:00 am.  Raffle, Sales Stall, Christmas Cards.  All welcome, bring a friend.  Money raised will go to the L&D Hospital (Macmillan Cancer Care Unit).
