The Chest
At the back of the church stands one of our more recent acquisitions. This is the large chest designed to store the altar frontals. (Yes, it's O.K. to lift the lid and look in).
It
gives particular pleasure first because it is a fine piece of furniture,
and second, because it was made by Stephen Grainger, a qualified carpenter
who is a member of our congregation.
